First Thursday Celebration at PNCA’s New Campus

Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) will to host its first First Thursday event on March 5, from 6-9 p.m.

The event will be held at PNCA’s new campus flagship, the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Art and Design in their 511 Gallery.

PNCA’s First Thursday involves refreshments and the opportunity for the public to explore the school’s art galleries and student projects.

The gallery features Gathering Autonomy: Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative, a cooperative of 30 artists whose work focuses on radical social, environmental, and political topics.

There will also be work from PNCA students, alumni, and faculty presented at the gallery. 

Many exhibits will be featured on the main floor will and will display Project Spaces, the Graduate Gallery, New Commons, and video installations created by students and faculty.

Visitors can also view Living With Glass: The Ed Cauduro and Dane Nelson Collections and Extra Credit: Students Mine the Collection

PNCA’s new address is 511 NW Broadway with an entrance on Portland’s North Park Blocks.
