Portland’s Music on Main Street Hosts Tribute to Stevie Wonder

During this year’s celebration, Joey Porter's tribute to Stevie Wonder will take place as part of Portland‘5 Centers for the Arts annual free summer concert series.
Joey Porter has played sold-out shows around Portland covering popular artists and their greatest hits from the 60s and 70s. Previously, Porter was the lead man for the Portland funk group, Porterhouse, and has received much acclaim for their music.
In addition to Joey Porter’s tribute, the outdoor concert series will include various musicians, both local and regional, throughout the summer months as part of the celebration. The free concert is located on Main Street by the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in downtown Portland and is open to the public.
Music on Main Street will take place on Wednesday, July 15 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., with food served at the ArtBar & Bistro at 4:30 p.m. Joey Porter’s Stevie Wonder tribute begins at 5 p.m.
