Phantom

A scene from "Phantom of the Opera" currently playing at Keller Auditorium.

As of now, there are currently eight productions of The Phantom Of The Opera around the world.  Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s "Phantom" will grace the Keller Auditorium stage for the next two weeks.

This version of Phantom will not be like any other adaption local audiences have seen before. This new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical includes newly renovated staging and incredible new set designs. The lighting and sound have also been completely redesigned for this particular production. With a cast and orchestra of 52 totaling people this is one of the largest productions currently on tour in North America. Since this production is so large 20 trucks are used to transport this musical from city to city.

“After a glorious celebration of 27 phenomenal years on Broadway with no end in sight, I’m delighted that this dazzling new production of Phantom has been phenomenally well received by both audiences and critics alike in the U.K. and now the U.S.,” stated Mackintosh. “With an exciting new set design and staging, retaining Maria Björnson’s amazing costumes, I am confident North American audiences will fall in love with the Phantom in his guise — for the first time or all over again.”

With the Phantom Of The Opera being on Broadway for 27 years and grossing close to 6 billion dollars this new rendition will be sure to keep the tradition going.

The Phantom Of The Opera will be showing at Keller Auditorium, SW 3rd Ave. & Clay St.from May 13-23. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
