Portland Area Parks Host Free Summer Concert Series

Wednesday, July 01, 2015

If you’re strapped for cash, yet still want to get out and do something fun this summer you're in luck. The City of Portland will be hosting a summer concert series that is completely free to attend.

From now until the end of August there will be concerts almost every day of the week located in various parks throughout Portland. No matter where you live there’s a good chance that a concert will be coming to a park near you.

There will be genres ranging from Bass-Driven Blues to Powerful Acoustic Folk-Rock to Honky Tonk & Western Swing.

If a free summer concert series sounds like a fun way to unwind after a stressful day of work then pack your picnic dinner, grab a few lawn chairs and check the schedule to see which concert you’d like to check out.

Most concerts will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
