You may not want to hear it, but summer is ending and cooler weather is coming, which means it’s time to put away the shorts and tank tops and start putting together some autumn outfits. Be warned: Creating a new fall closet means getting rid of some old things and bringing in some new fall fashion essentials.
Colors such as dark teals, deep plums, and warm browns are going to add nice earthy touches to your new seasonal look. With simple accessories, structured looks, patterned maxi skirts, and the new “boyfriend” attire it’ll be easy to mix and match all of these great fall looks. Adding accents of the autumnal shades as the season changes will help introduce these fall essentials as well as complement some of the summer styles you may not be quite ready to abandon.
Make sure to check out some of the local Portland boutiques for some style inspiration. Local designers and buyers are keeping their keen eyes out for new fall trends and essentials. All of their designs and accessories are going to add a little extra to jeans, sweaters, tights, and dresses.
The weather may start to cool down, but you can still look hot with some of these additions to your wardrobe.
