Akasha at Fade to Light.

Portland Threads is GoLocalPDX's weekly review of what Portlanders are wearing on the streets.

The Crystal Ballroom transformed into an imaginative fashion show, highlighting emerging local talent, for the semi-annual Fade to Light event this past Wednesday.

Portland fashion fans, design students, and local business owners came out wearing leather jackets, bohemian silhouettes, and fur shawls.

For some it was all about comfort, combining converse with a skirt and white and black collard top.

For others a fur shawl to match a red martini or another to contrast a yellow dress, added a hint of glamour to an outfit.

Hats were also a popular accessory adding a bohemian or calm and collected vibe to an outfit.
