Sseko Designs Hosts First-Ever Sample Sale

For the first time ever, Sseko Designs is hosting a sample sale on Saturday, August 29th, from 10am - 4pm. 

This will be a free event where patrons can get discounts of up to 90% off, in addition to learning more about the company and its mission. 

Sseko Designs is a fashion brand that designs and produces ethically made products. 

The company hires women in East Africa to make beautiful rope sandals, earning wages that can go toward continuing their educations and pursuing their dreams.

According to Sseko’s site, the company has directly helped 60 women with continuing their college educations.  

Selling footwear, bags, and other accessories, Sseko Designs seeks to empower both the women creating their products and the women wearing their products.

“We believe that every woman has a dream. When she is given the opportunity to pursue those dreams, we are collectively walking towards a brighter and more just and beautiful world.” - Sseko Designs

Sseko’s First-Ever Sample Sale, Sseko Headquarters, 222 SE Alder St. Saturday, August 29th, 10am - 4pm. All the proceeds of the event goes toward empowering and education women in East Africa.
