Sticks & Stones Accessories to Open Up Shop in PDX
Friday, January 23, 2015
Sticks & Stones utilize materials such as maple wood, elk antler sheds, and abalone to create repurposed jewelry that unites nature and modern design. You can customize their jewelry and make it a unique piece by getting it engraved, adding a gemstone, or incorporating your own materials.
Each piece is made in-house and goes through various stages of preparation, sanding, and dipping in a custom oil blend. The oil cures, protects and enhances the wood and its luster. The finished product takes a two week span to complete.
Their first 2015 limited edition collection Neon Candy Paint, features one and two finger handcrafted maple wood rings, with a neon hand poured resin.
The new brick and mortar store will have a curated selection of USA made home goods, clothing, and accessories. The store will also be participating in First Thursday. Each month, a local or national artists will have a installation available to view all month.
Come out to the grand opening party and enjoy complimentary beverages and music by Dubblife, Neill Von Tally, KONCEPT, Mikey Makeout, Draze, and Danny Merkury.
Sticks & Stones Grand Opening Party, 427 NW 6th Avenue, 6 pm- 11 pm, Friday January 30, FREE. More information HERE.
