Eating healthier and losing weight is at the top of many peoples new year resolutions lists this year, but what about changing your nail polish color each week?

Your nail polish could have a psychological impact on how many calories you eat, according to fashion stylist Rachel Zoe’s website The Zoe Report

It’s well known that colors can affect your mood and how much food you eat. For example home and garden website the kitchn found that popcorn and other foods that are white, encourage over eating, while the color blue suppresses your appetite.

Research from Cornell University found that the color and size of your plate can affect how much you eat. Dr. Brian Wansink and Dr. Koert van Ittersum studied color contrast effects and found that portion sizes get bigger when your food and plate are the same color.
