Broadside Brewery to Open New Brewpub

The new restaurant will be located next to the New Seasons Marketplace at the intersection of Raleigh and NW 22nd. The new pub will be larger than their current restaurant and pub, located on Northeast Dekum Street. The new location will be 5,000 sq. feet with an outdoor patio and mezzanine.
Broadside was founded in 2010 as a small brewpub in northeast Portland’s Woodlawn neighborhood and has grown to one of the most acclaimed breweries in the Pacific Northwest. They the highly coveted Gold Medal for American-style IPA at the Great American Beer Festival for their flagship IPA in 2014. The IPA was also named to Men;s Journal’s 100 Best Beers in the World.
Broadside is known for their experimental barrel-aged and sour beers such as the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Aztec and Passionfruit Sour. Broadside Beers are available on draft and in 22 oz. bottles in Oregon, Washington, Colorado Hawaii andBritish Columbia. The company plans to expand its offerings soon, including the introduction six packs of 12 oz. bottles, more speciality bottles more sour beers.
