On April 14th, the Pearl District will welcome a new, authentic, Sicilian restaurant called Bellino Trattoria Siciliana.

Owned by executive chef, Francesco Inguaggiato, Bellino will be located in the space formerly occupied by Fratelli.

Bellino will offer lunch, Happy Hour, and dinner, Tuesday through Sunday.

Partnering with local businesses like Nikky USA, Charlie’s Produce, Newman's Fish Company, Bellino is sure to be an instant favorite among Portlanders who love to “eat locally.”

The restaurant will also serve Sicilian wines and beer from both Portland and Italy, in addition to providing a full service bar for patrons.

The owner of Bellino, Chef Francesco, hails from the Sicily’s capital city and owns two other Sicilian restaurants located in Texas. Prior to becoming a chef, this modern day Renaissance Man also played basketball for the Italian League for eighteen years and coached professionally for three years.

When asked about his decision to open a restaurant in Portland, Chef Francesco said, “My vision for the space was to bring 100 percent Sicilian design elements with a ‘Made in Oregon’ feel to the restaurant.”

Before the Bellino’s grand opening, there is also a special preview event on Monday, April 13th, from 6pm-8pm. There, you can meet Chef Francesco and be the first to experience his fine dishes. If interested, please call 503-249-0459 by April 10th.

Bellino Trattoria Siciliana is located at 1230 NW Hoyt, Tuesday-Saturday, 11am -9pm. Please call (503) 208-2992 for reservations.
