Travel Portland To Create 10 #PDXNOW Beers Debuting On January 24

Sample all 10 limited-edition beers at Collabofest.

Travel Portland is partnering with Base Camp Brewing Company for a series of limited-availability #PDXNOW beers, as part of the "Portland is Happening Now” tourism campaign.

“Portland is the ultimate destination for beer lovers. With more craft breweries than any other city on the planet,” said Courtney Ries, Travel Portland marketing director. “This limited-availability series showcases a variety of breweries in town, and we hope this encourages beer lovers to visit Portland before they miss this exclusive collection.”

10 Portland Breweries (Hopworks Urban Nrewery, Nreakside Brewery, and Coalition Brewing Co. to name a few) have come together to create 10 different #PDXNOW brews. The breweries use local ingredients to promote the brewing talents found in Portland.

“This initiative typifies the collaborative spirit Portland is known for,” said Ross Putnam, co-founder of Base Camp Brewing Company. “We’ve very much enjoyed working with this group of exceptional breweries to create a #PDXNOW collection that both tourists and locals are sure to love.”

You can get the #PDXNOW beers at the breweries’ respective taprooms from Jan. 24 through Feb. 28.

Collabofest Launch Event

Come sample all 10 limited-edition beers and meet the brewers, at Collabofest on January 24. The family-friendly celebration will have an all-ages ski and snowboard rail jam, with fresh snow trucked in from Mount Hood, presented by local clothing brand All The Homies. The event will cover two city blocks and also bring iconic food trucks like Koi Fusion, Gonzo, and Grilled Cheese Grill.

Collabofest, Base Camp Brewing Company, 930 SE Oak Street, 12 pm- 8 pm, Saturday, January 24, $20 General Admission, $35 VIP, kids free.
