American Cancer Society Says Mammograms Should Start at 45, Not 40

The American Cancer Society has issued new mammogram guidelines on Tuesday suggesting that women should begin mammograms at age 45 and continue yearly until age 54. Previously it was recommended that clinical breast exams should start at age 40.
