Hey everybody! My name is Brady and I'm looking for a family that likes to be outdoors. Although I am a middle aged man, I am still very active and love to do many activities. The shelter has found out that I enjoy playing with tennis balls and frisbees, so the park could be a fun place to hang out. I came to the shelter as an injured stray after someone found me limping along the road. Although no serious injuries were found, I still need to take it easy. They also found that I have some pretty severe ear infections that are now being treated. In time they should heal up just fine, but I will have to be on some medications for a bit. I guess it's a pretty typical thing for labs to get. I can be a tad shy when I first meet people, but once I'm comfortable, I become a sweet ole' lug. Please come and meet me today! I am about 9 years old and weigh 76 pounds.

Hi there! My name is Frederick and I'm looking for a quiet home where I can relax. When I came to the shelter I was very scared and it took me some time to trust new people. Turns out that food is my main motivation, so if you have some, let's start bonding. I am a very active little guy that enjoys going for walks and being with my people. I'm not fond of being left alone yet, so I may not be the best match for apartment living. The shelter is recommending that we attend reward based classes together to help me build my confidence and learn to trust strangers. Children in the home should be over the age of 8 years old as well. Sometimes those little ones move a little too fast for my comfort. If you are looking for a friend for life, I am your guy! I'm not one to brag about myself, but others have told me that I am an exceptionally well-adjusted and sweet-natured cat with soft, beautiful fur and eyes like pale-green velvet. I am also ridiculously affectionate and gets along splendidly with everyone including dogs (other cats? kids?). I do admit that I've seen some very tough times- I was homeless, hungry, and in desperate need of medical attention and yet I still managed to demonstrate kindness and gratitude to everyone I met. Some have even called me very brave. After everything I've been through, my greatest wish is for a soft place to lay his head, and for hands that will touch me with love- a love I will return many, many times over, guaranteed. Again, not to toot my own horn, but someone even called me "a super star of a cat."

Francesca is a sweet and beautiful 12 year old girl who has been exposed to cats, dogs and humans, and got along well with them all. She is doing very well here in the shelter, but would love a home to call her own. She is affectionate and still very playful. Francesca is a very nice elderly cat with multiple medical issues. We recommend she be adopted out as a hospice adoption to be kept comfortable for the rest of her days by her new owner. Francesca has several medical issues including: tumor on nose (tested as benign), heart murmur, petit mal seizures (brief, not a full seizure). She is currently receiving anti-seizure medication. Ask about Francesca at the shelter.

I love toys, and will play fetch and tug until I can't run anymore. I will even play with toys by myself-that's how fun they are to me. Cats are way too fun to chase, so I would like a home without the little ones, but with a proper introduction, a canine buddy may be just fine. I need a home that will be able to help me build confidence, and use positive reinforcement training since I can be a bit timid with too much handling, and I don't have much control of my commands just yet.
