slides: 10 “Days of Culture” Events Around Oregon

Wednesday, September 30, 2015

BendFilm! is an independent film festival coming to Bend, Oregon.

It's official: October 1st through the 8th are Oregon's "Days of Culture." For those of us struggling to figure out what this means, we can seek refuge in the Oregon Cultural Trust.

In an attempt to capitalize on individual perceptions of Oregonian culture, Oregon's Cultural Trust is letting you define it. Through an Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter-led campaign, Oregonians are hashtagging and photographing events and festivals happening throughout Oregon that make up our collective identity.

If you send Oregon's Cultural Trust a link to an event, they will include it in on their website for all Oregonians to see -- and experience. Included on the list so far: film festivals, museum exhibits, quilt shows, and puppetry classes.

Unsurprisingly, there are few things listed in Portland.

See Slideshow Below

The Oregon Cultural Trust recommends these ten upcoming events from around Oregon if you want to get into the Oregonian spirit. The following events have been compiled (and hashtagged) by Oregonians like you for Oregonians like you!
