Isobella
Breed: Boxer/ Pitbull, American
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
Isobella is waiting to be the belle of the ball in a new home. We think she is a boxer pitbull mix about a year old and she weighs a petite 46lbs. Because she is still in the teenage mouthy stage the shelter recommends kids in the home are at least 12 years old. Isobella is food motivated and would do well in an obedience class that uses reward based training method. She is active and very playful and does funny little play bows. Please come and meet her today!

Ruby
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Female
My name is Ruby and I am currently in foster care. Contact [email protected] to find out more about me! I am a 6 month old spayed female, and the vet lady said I am a dainty petite sweetie! My foster mom says she would describe be as one of the best kitties she's ever had. Why, you ask? Because I am great with a litter box, I don't scratch where I'm not supposed to, and clean my plate after dinner! I enjoy string and could chase it all day, but I love a relaxing head scratch while laying on a warm lap too. I prefer to be the only kitty and center of attention, but I have lived with other cats and am okay as long as I have space. My foster mummy says I would do best with calm older children. A dog friend may be ok depending on its temperament. Could you be my next best friend for life?

Yunna
Breed: Poodle/ Maltese
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
Hello, my name is Yunna! I arrived at the shelter because my family is no longer able to take care of me. Sadly they weren't my first family either but they have known me the longest and have said that I am social with people, described as a very well behaved lap dog, am house trained, and have been the only animal in the home. I am also blind and will need a home where my adopters don't like to rearrange furniture and don't have any steps for me to fall down. Are you looking for a lady like me? Please come down to the shelter and introduce yourself. I am around 10 years old and weigh 12.8 pounds. I am spayed!

Otto
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Male
Age: Adult
Hi! My name is Otto and I would like to be your next lap cat. If you think that I would be the cat for you please get in touch with my foster mom, Paula, at 503-388-8097. She can give you all the wonderful details about me :D I do get along with other cats and if there is room or I get there first I will gladly share lap space with other kitties. I haven't met a dog before. Living with children would be fine as long as they are respectful of me. I am an adult so you don’t have to put up with all that kitten stuff. I am dignified and quiet, but do like to have my playtime and I like to curl up on a lap and have a good snooze. I do have diabetes so you will have to keep track of my glucose level and give me an insulin shot if I need it. I am really good about it - you can just ask my foster mom. I’m really good about it because I get to eat once it is done. You do have to watch me around food, anybody’s food. I will tend to eat whatever I see. You see they have me on a feeding regimen and a special food. It does keep me trim and that is important for controlling my diabetes.

Lexie
Breed: Shetland Sheepdog/ Mix
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
Hello! My shelter friends have affectionately named me Lexie for my adorable face and my diva personality. I would like to start off saying that if you are searching for a first time easy going dog for your companion then I am probably not the gal for you. An experienced adult only adopter who is willing to give me time to build a trusting relationship, who doesn't have a busy household and who is willing to respect my boundaries sounds like a better match for me! If you bring along some hot dog or cheese for a first time meeting, that will definitely sweeten the deal. Are you interested in a special girl like me? I have been at the shelter for over two months and would love a home for the holidays. I am around 12 years old and weigh 15 pounds.

Viola
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Female
Hi! I’m Viola. Isn’t that a lovely name? I am a cute, timid little girl. Up until I was 3 months old I was out on the streets with my brothers. It wasn’t an easy life, but we had each other and we stayed clear of people. Then we were brought in from the cold. Now I am a teenager and my foster mom has been working with me to get me used to and trusting of people. I am beginning to see that people can be OK. My foster mom is able to pet me especially when she has treats. They are pretty tasty. And I am beginning to let her pet me without treats. I am not ready to let anyone pick me up but my foster mom is persistent and in time I will give in. I am fine with other cats. I don’t know about those critters called dogs. I guess if it is calm to be around I would probably be OK. NO children under 12 please - they make me really nervous. My adopters would have to be patient with me as I get used to a new place and people but I know I can do it. If I sound like a cat you would like to hear more about please give my foster mom, Paula, a call at 503-388-8097.

Mercury (was Gilda)
Breed: Domestic Shorthair/ Mix
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
My name is Mercury and I’m an exquisite young lady who is affectionate and who adores human companionship. My foster mom says I am a very sweet girl who can be shy at first. I’m healthy and strong and have the most amazing golden green eyes. At 7 years old, I’m still very playful and I love chasing my feather wand and knotted strings. I also like playing inside my Catty Stacks with my furry foster sister. I’m okay with other cats if given time to get to know them, and I won’t object to being held if you go slowly at first. My meow is a cute little squeak, and it makes my foster mommy laugh and smile. If you want a lovely lady who’s as soft as mink and as beautiful as liquid Mercury, I’m the one for you. Kindly email my foster mom at [email protected] or call her at 971-267-4450 if you are interested in meeting me.
