14th Annual Shop With a Cop Set for August 17
Tuesday, August 16, 2016
Portland Police as well as 240 kids are set to participate in this year's Shop with a Cop on Wednesday, August 17 at 7 a.m.
The Sunshine Division's Izzy's Kids will partner with Fred Meyer and Camp Rosenbaum to fund the annual "Shop with a Cop" event at the Gateway Fred Meyer Store which is located at 1111 Northeast 102nd Avenue.
This year marks the 14th-year anniversary of Shop with a Cop, in which Portland Police and local kids spend a morning together shopping for back to school clothing. Kids are identified by the Boys and Girls Club of Portland and Home Forward, and are selected based on their financial need and outstanding volunteer efforts in the community.
