St. Johns Bizarre
With the street fair season right around the corner be sure to come check out the St. Johns Bizarre. Guests will enjoy live music, dancing, food and locally crafted beers. As promised, there will be over 75 local vendors at this year’s event. Plus: there's a parade that kicks off the whole day!

Doggie Dash
On Saturday bring your dogs to Naito Parkway and participate in the 28th annual Oregon Humane Society Doggie Dash. Naito Parkway will be completely closed off to traffic so participants can enjoy a 2.5 mile run/walk/jog across the Hawthorne and Steel bridges. The money that is raised from this event will help OHS find homes for 11,000 pets this year.

The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Show
If you’re willing to spend a little extra cash this weekend be sure to check out The Dinner Detective at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. During this interactive murder mystery show guests will have the opportunity to solve a hilarious murder while also enjoying a four-course dinner. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled because everyone is a suspect.

Portland Thorns vs. Washington Spirit
On Saturday the Portland Thorns will be facing the Washington Spirit at Providence Park. Having not won a game yet since losing Alex Morgan and Tobin Heath to the United States National team the Thorns are set out to prove that they can still win without their two stars. Being one of only two teams in the NWSL who haven’t lost a game this season lets hope it doesn’t come this weekend.

Run Like a Mother 5K & Kids Race
For Mother’s Day head over to Cook Park to participate in a 5K. The money that is raised will go towards Northwest Mother’s Milk Bank. This milk bank is the only non-profit human milk bank in the Pacific Northwest. The mission of their organization is to collect, pasteurize and distribute donor human milk for medical needs. All who participate will be able to join in on the post-race party, which includes live entertainment.
