Albertina Kerr To Hold 108th Annual Meeting and Community Awards Luncheon Today

Strayed, author of Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail, will be the events keynote speaker. She will also be signing books after the meeting of those in attendance.
At the Luncheon, the Albertina Kerr Foundation will honor the winners of their community awards for 2015. The awards recognize members of the community honors community leaders and businesses in support of children, families and adults facing mental health challenges and developmental disabilities.
During the ceremony, the following honorees will be recognized:
Community Service Award: Ted Wheeler, Oregon State Treasurer and Albertina Kerr’s Community Promise Capital Campaign, Honorary Chair
Silver Circle Award: Hillsboro Hops
Community Support, Business Award: Cal Weld
Outstanding Foundation Support: Spirit Mountain Community Foundation
Immediate Past Board Chairs Recognition: Larry Davis, Chair, Governing Board and Keith Meyers, Chair, Foundation Board
Retiring Board Members: Fritz Bartsch, Jerry Baysinger, Angela Hult, Priscilla Lewis, Anton Oehlert, Rich Smith, Serilda Summers-McGee, Karen Wandtke and John Ward
Emeritus Board Member: Anthony J. Seashore
Albertina Kerr’s Annual Meeting & Community Awards Luncheon will take place October 27 at the Sentinel Hotel in Portland with a Luncheon starting at 11:30am. Registration and tickets for the event is available online at AlbertinaKerr.org.
