The children’s resale store, Beanstalk, recently announced their partnership with Portland Public School’s PTA Clothing Center for a back-to-school clothing drive. The drive will benefit children in need in Portland and will also take place Saturday, August 15th, through Tuesday, August 25th.

Donors may drop off items at Beanstalk's retail location where they will be accepting gently-used girls and boys clothing, sized 4 toddler through youth 12, and shoes, sized 10 through 5.

By giving back to their community, donors will also have a chance to win a $25 Beanstalk gift card.

For more information about the clothing drive or the store, please email [email protected].

Back-to-school Clothing Drive, Beanstalk, 3527 NE 15th Ave. Saturday, August 15th, through Tuesday, August 25th. Drop off clothing during normal business hours, Monday - Saturday 10am-6pm and Sundays 12pm-5pm.

How Consigning Works

While the Beanstalk team reviews and selects your items, you can shop and wait while.

Selected items will then be priced, steamed, tagged and showcased at Beanstalk for 60 days. Selected non-clothing or higher end items may get extended consignment time.

You will receive 40 percent of the selling price of your items and 50 percent on items priced over $100.

At the end of 60 days any unsold items will then be donated or picked up per your agreement request.
