Wicked opens Aug. 5th at the Keller Auditorium.
U.S. Bank Broadway in Portland is offering $25 rush tickets for the last week of Wicked in Portland.
"We are pleased to announce the Lottery for $25 Wicked tickets prior to each performance," said Broadway Across America.
In short, patrons need to arrive 2.5 hours before the performance to put their name in the barrel and a half-hour later names are drawn to purchase a pair of tickets. It is a cash-only transaction.
Featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Pippin, Godspell, and the Academy Award winning Pocohontas), Wicked returns to Portland from Aug 5th - August 23rd.
The musical Wicked is based off of Gregory Maguire’s book of the same title. It is the unsung tale of one of American fiction’s most famed villains, the Wicked Witch of the West.
"Wicked" will perform at the Keller Auditorium from August 5 through August 23. A true Broadway classic, Guys and Dolls has stood the test of time, and continues to be adored by audiences of all ages. The show premiered in November 1950 – a production that won five Tony Awards including Best New Musical – and has been revived many times, both on Broadway and London’s West End. It was also the inspiration for the 1955 film starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra.
