Coffee Creek Puppy Program Plans to Expand

Wednesday, March 08, 2017

The Coffee Creek Puppy Program (CCPP) is looking to raise funds in order to expand by setting up new training areas.

In the Coffee Creek Puppy Program, women in custody at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville learn to train service dogs for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI).

The CCPP operates on donations and services provided by volunteers. In partnership with CCI, the Oregon Department of Corrections offers this learning opportunity for incarcerated women and recognizes the dynamic effect it has on all involved.
