Find Your New Favorite Book at the Multnomah County Library Fall Used Book Sale

The annual sale will be home to more than 100,000 donated books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and more. Materials will be available at some attractive prices—children’s books and small paperbacks will be on sale for as low as $.50 and hardcover books and large paperback will be available starting at $2.
There will also be plenty of special events on hand for those in attendance. On Friday, members of the Friends of the Multnomah County Library will be allowed exclusive admission to the Collector’s Corner presale. Not a member yet? Join the group at the door and get an early look at this year’s offerings.
On Saturday, test your literary knowledge with literary trivia and a cash bar, beginning at 6 PM and running until 9 PM.
Come dressed as your favorite book character on Sunday, when there will be a costume contest. The competition kicks off at 1 PM, and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes in multiple categories.
Finally, on Monday, all remaining books will be available at a 50 percent discount.
