slides: Party Report: Hotel Vintage Portland Grand Opening

The newest hotel in Downtown Portland feels like modern art intersecting New York style graffiti. Think Roche Bobois meets subway car.

On Thursday, May 28th, the Hotel Vintage in Downtown Portland opened it's doors for its grand opening party. The night was filled with art, delicious hors d'oeuvres and tastings from Oregon wineries.

Upon entering the retro, yet modernly designed hotel, guests were handed a "passport," essentially a map of the gorgeous rooms being showcased, and a glass, which could be filled with a myriad of different Oregon wines in each room. The event felt like a classy around the world party.

Guests ate, drank and explored the hotel from the wine cellar in the basement to the two-story suites higher up in the building. The best part? No more than 10 minutes could pass before a lovely waiter would offer you a bacon-wrapped prawn in true Portland fashion.

See the slideshow below for a peek at the hotel's stunning interior and amazing party.
