A pre-function party for the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus 2015 Pride Concert “AbbaQueen” was held at the home of Charlie Frasier and Rick Taylor in downtown Portland. Guests included Bill Dickey and Governor Kate Brown who joined up with the sold-out Schnitzer crowd for the 7 pm Saturday show.

PGMC is now in its 35th season.

For this show, Artistic Director Bob Mensel wanted to bring back one of the most popular concerts in the Chorus’s history:  "The first ABBAQueen was PGMC's most attended concert of the past two decades, so we thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate the close of our 35th anniversary season,” said Mensel.

The Chorus performed such audience favorites as Dancing Queen, Thing Called Love,  We Will Rock You, Fernando, Killer Queen, Super Trouper and many others.

But that's not all. After record ticket sales for ABBAQueen The Portland Gay Men’s Chorus had announced a second performance  on June 19th. PGMC will stage the Choral Rock concert at Portland's newest concert venue. Tickets can be purchased at www.RevolutionHallPDX.com.
