Portland’s Pix Patisserie is getting in the holiday spirit this Valentine’s Day! They’ll be offering plenty of delicious chocolate specials and will even be giving away a free pair of earrings to mark the holiday.
Pix will offer special desserts and macarons leading up to Valentine’s Day. They will also have plenty of classy-looking chocolate boxes for your special someone with a sophisticated palate.
Pix will also have special “boozy chocolates.” The Chardon chocolates are shots of top-shelf liquor with a chocolate chaser. They are fabricated in an ancient and time-consuming method – liquor syrup fills impressions made in a box of starch and are left to crystallize for 36 hours, creating a fragile sugar shell with a boozy liquid center, and then dipped in Valrhona dark chocolate.
There will also be plenty of special desserts available exclusively until Valentine’s Day. Try the Moulin Rouge, Truffle Heart or a St. Honore for St. Valentine.
Best of all, there will be a special treat on Valentine’s Day itself. On Sunday, a single chocolate gift box will have not only the usual delicious assortment of Pix Patisserie Chocolates. It will also come with a pair of one carat black and white diamond stud earrings.
Pix Patisserie, located at 2225 E Burnside Street, will be open from 10 AM to 12 AM on this Sunday, February 14 for Valentine’s Day. For more information, visit the Pix Patisserie website.
