REVIVE: An 80’s Dance Party Benefitting Music Education
Thursday, October 23, 2014
Amy Richter, a Beaverton parent, created Music Workshop with the intent of providing free supplemental music education programs to elementary and middle schools after music programs were cut from the Beaverton School District. According to Music Workshop, they have helped students appreciate music history and teach students how to use music in their everyday life to better themselves in their life activities.
Richter and her team need your help to continue to offer this free program to Portland schools. Join Music Workshop this Saturday, at their REVIVE ‘80s dance party, benefiting music education. ‘80s tribute band Radical Revolution will provide classic dance worthy ‘80s songs. Other activities include a video games, billiards, red carpet photo booth, and great prizes.
Make sure to buy tickets in advance, as there will be no door sales. General admission is $40.00, with all ticket purchases being a 80% tax deductible. Buy tickets here.
Dance the night away at Music Workshop's event REVIVE, on October 25 at 7:30 pm at Bossanova Ballroom, 722 E Burnside St in Portland.
