$10,000 Reward Offered By Victim’s Family in 2015 Homicide

The family of a man murdered outside a Portland bar in 2015 is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his killer.

The family of Maurice Anthony Gatson, who was murdered in October, raised the money in an effort to help solve what happened on the night of Gatson’s death.

Portland Police Bureau East Precinct and Gang Enforcement Team officers responded to a report of a shooting outside the Pallas club, located at 13639 Southwest Powell Boulevard at 12:45 AM on Saturday, October 4.

Police found and pronounced Gatson dead at the scene. He was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant.

Patrol and K-9 officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Anyone with information about Gatson's murder is asked to contact Homicide detectives. Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects.
