Astronaut & Former US Senator Glenn Passes Away at 95

Glenn became the first American to orbit the earth in 1962 and became a national hero for the feat. He made three orbits around the earth.
In 1974, Glenn was elected to Congress, winning a seat in the US Senate. He served four terms in Congress, leaving in 1999.
