The Australian government is setting up post office boxes in Oregon so its citizens can circumvent sales taxes, among other costs, according to The Daily Mail.

The Australia Post recently opened a warehouse in Oregon as part of the new enterprise that will provide its citizens with their own U.S. addresses and forward parcels to their actual address in Australia, The Daily Mail reported.  The government-run postal service spearheaded the program so Australian consumers can benefit from lower prices for their online orders. Oregon is one of five U.S. states that doesn’t have a sales-tax.

Consumers in Australia pay up to 60 percent more than Americans do for the same products, according to a consumer group's report.
