Driver of Stolen Car Killed in Crash with Sheriff’s Office Vehicle

The Sheriff’s Office was investigating a stolen vehicle involved in a pursuit just after 12 AM on Monday. The vehicle was located and officer began to pursue the car. The stolen car collided with a Sheriff’s Office patrol car at roughly 12:30 AM on Monday.
The driver of the stolen vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers from the Klamath County Major Crime Team are still investigating the crash. The deputy involved received only minor injuries.
