Free Metered Parking in Portland on Christmas

Electronic meters will be programmed not to accept any payment on Thursday, while residents should refrain from depositing coins into traditional meters.
Metered parking in the City of Portland is free on nine holidays each year: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
