The Oregon native and National Guardsman Spc. Alek Skarlatos and three other men who tackled and disarmed a gunman on an Amsterdam to Paris train have been awarded France's highest honor.
French President François Hollande at a cermeony awarded the Legion of Honour to a Briton and three Americans during a ceremony at the Elysée Palace in Paris.
