Marijuana Vote Will Be Close, Oregonian/KGW Poll Says

Tuesday, October 28, 2014

The vote for legalizing recreational marijuana in Oregon will be a close one, a new poll by the Oregonian and KGW reveals.

Of the 400 likely voters surveyed between October 26 and 27, the poll reported 44 percent supported legalizing marijuana, while 46 percent said they would vote against the measure. Seven percent said they were unsure while 2 percent wouldn’t say.

Oregon will be the third state to legalize marijuana if Measure 92 passes, joining Washington and Colorado. Other states voting on this issue for election will be Alaska and Washington, D.C.
