NEW: Portland Police Lockdown Roosevelt HS Following Threat

Police Respond to Threat
Officers arrived and contacted school staff who said they were concerned about information they received from several students and possibly learned through social media regarding a threat to the school.
Police and school personnel took immediate action to protect the safety of students and school staff and placed the school on lockdown. Officers have searched Roosevelt High School and the school is now on lockout for the time being.
Police are asking anyone with information about this incident should contact the Portland Police non-emergency line at 503-823-3333.
Roosevelt HS is now in lockout after an earlier lock down this am after a threat. Police searched the school and continue to investigate.
