Thursday, November 12, 2015

Former Army captain Florent Groberg, 32, has been awarded the Medal of Honor by President Obama on Thursday.

Groberg was commended for his courageous actions that took place during a 2012 attack in Afghanistan's Kunar Province in which he tackled a suicide bomber.

GoLocal teams up with GraphIQ to show the number of Medals of Honor warded by major conflict, as well as distribution of U.S. military stationed abroad under the Obama Administration.
