One Dead, Two Injured after North Portland Shooting

One man was killed and two more were injured in a shooting outside a North Portland Motorcycle Club early on Saturday morning

Portland Police Bureau North Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting at 4:50 AM on Saturday outside the Dauhru Motorcycle Club, located at 8443 North Kerby Avenue.

As police responded they learned that more than two dozen gunshots were heard by witnesses. They also learned that two suspects, described as African American males, fled the area in their car.

A 40-year-old man was killed in the shooting. Two other victims, a 41-year-old male and a 35-year-old male, remain in the hospital receiving treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said that detectives believe there was an exchange of gunfire resulting in the death and two injuries. Detectives have not yet established whether there was a relationship between the three victims or the victims and the suspects.
