Revolution Hall To Host July 4th Same Sex Weddings

Revolution Hall, a performing arts venue in Southeast Portland, honors the Supreme Court decision to legalize same sex marriage throughout the U.S. by hosting a special impromptu 4th of July celebration where two rooftop same sex wedding ceremonies will occur. 

The event, "Celebrating Love In The Free World," will include live music by 3 Leg Torso, a picnic dinner, desserts provided by Cupcake Jones, and a great view of fireworks to top off the night. 

The celebration will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 4 and is located on 1300 SE Stark Street.

Dog Days Of Summer

Millennium Concert Band

Under the direction of Dale Cleland, the Millennium Concert Band will kicking off 4th of July weekend with a USO style performance. The band will be performing patriotic, military and marching compositions. Veterans will also be honored at this concert and there will even be a ceremonial Presentation of the Colors from the Lake Oswego Police Honor Guard.

Independence Day At Fort Vancouver

Foot Traffic Flat Marathon

The Foot Traffic Flat Marathon is one of the flattest and fastest marathons on the West Coast. Participants have the option of signing up for a 5k, 8k, half marathon or full marathon. Each marathon will take place on Sauvie Island, which is 12,000+ acre island just northwest of Portland.

The Merry Wives Of Windsor

This summer the Original Practice Shakespeare, a non-profit theater company, will be performing various Shakespeare plays throughout Portland. Portland Timbers Vs. San Jose Earthquakes
