When asked to comment on the Rosemary Anderson shootings on the anniverary of her mother's death, Jenna provided the following statement:

"My first thought is here we go again. More violence, more families impacted. And its only going to continue happening until people are ready to do something.

I don't know the details yet. I know there are three victims, three young kids. And I hope they'll be okay.

The main question that should always be asked in these situations is how did the shooter get the gun? Did he pass a background check? Was it a private sale--did he take advantage of a private sale? Was the gun stolen from an owner who kept it unsecured and unlocked?

It doesn't seem like such events should continue happening. But nonetheless, here we go again."
