Ten Portland Nurses Amoung Nurse of the Year Winners

Ten Portland-area residents were among the winners for Nurse of the Year Awards at the fourth annual March of Dimes award event on Friday, October 24. 18 nurses were selected from 430 nominations from Oregon and Southwest Washington. 

The nurses from the Portland area were Amy Corcoran of Oregon Health & Science University from Sherwood, Lisa Halvorsen of Providence Milwaukie Hospital, Lora Horn of Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, Maribeth Roberts of Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center, Megan Tinling of Oregon Health & Science University, Mai-Tuyet Tran of Oregon Health & Science University, Yirong "Ron" Wang of Kaiser Westside Medical Center, Theresa Wikander of Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel and Carolyn Williams with the City of Portland. 

The event was presented by Moda Health and Oregon Health & Science University. William E. Johnson, MD, MBA, President of Moda Health, chaired the award ceremony.
