Three Car Crash Kills 2, Including A 12-Year-Old Girl

Oregon State troopers are investigating a three-car crash on Interstate 84 in Baker County that killed two people, including a 12-year old girl.
State police responded to the scene of a crash on I-84 near milepost 330, just east of Durkee. A blue 2003 Chevy Suburban driven by Billie Jo Aguilar, 39 and a carrying a pair of female juveniles, age 14 and 12, was traveling west on Interstate 84 when Aguilar lost control of the Suburban on the icy roadway and slid across the grassy median into the eastbound lanes.
The Suburban collided with a 2014 Peterbilt commercial truck, driven by Kendall Lee Lederman, 42, of Georgia. Both vehicles continued to slide off the right shoulder of the eastbound lanes and collided with a 2014 Volvo commercial vehicle that was parked and occupied by its driver John Patrick Henry, age 40 of Idaho.
Shortly after impact with the Volvo, the Suburban and the Peterbilt caught on fire and both became quickly engulfed. Both Aguilar and the 12-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 14-year-old was transported to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Baker City and later life-flighted to St. Alphonsus in Idaho. The other drivers were not injured.
