Governor Brown Signs Bill for New Trail Blazers License Plate

On Wednesday, August 12, Governor Brown signs a bill for HB 2730, a bill authorizing the creation of a new Portland Trail Blazers' vanity plate.

During the signing, Governor Brown will be joined by Chris McGowan, the president and CEO of the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Trail Blazers’ announcer, Bill Schonely. 

“Proceeds from sales of these plates will be distributed through the Trail Blazers Foundation in an open and competitive statewide grants process to organizations whose programs support Oregon’s kids,” stated Governor Brown’s office. 

The bill for the plates will be signed at 11am at the Governor’s Ceremonial Office in Salem.
