Clackamas Community College ‘Hall of Fame’ Banquet Honors Athletes & Coaches

The college offers 11 competitive sports that have won more than 50 championships over the school's 48-year history. The success of the athletics department has been fostered by many donors, sponsors, citizens and athletic supporters, according to CCC.
The hall of fame honorees were selected by a committee based on criteria including both their time at CCC and successes that followed. The 2014 Athletic Hall of Fame includes:
- Jim Jackson. CCC head wrestling coach and former director of athletics at CCC: Under Jackson's leadership, 40 teams won National Athletic Association of Community College (NWAACC) championships. Jackson also started the CCC women's soccer program.
- Kelly Sullivan. Track and field athlete and coach: Sullivan is in the top 10 of 3,000 meter steeplechase competition at CCC and an All-American in steeplechase and cross country at Willamette University. He has won numerous titles as a coach and is currently head cross-country and track coach at Oregon State University. He coached Olympian Brian Abshire.
- Norm Berney. Head wrestling coach, assistant track and field coach: 1975-1988. Berney coached wrestling at CCC for 17 years, coaching 30 All-American athletes.
- Becky Holiday. Track and field, 1999-2001: Two-time NWAACC women's pole vault champion, she holds a pole vault record for CCC, NWAACC, NJCAA and University of Oregon and finished second-place at the U.S. Olympic trials 2012.
- Tim Williams. Wrestling, 1970-72: Member of the 1971 national championship team and two-time NJCAA national champion, 142-pound weight class.
- 2004 Women's Soccer Team. The Cougar team won the NWAACC championship in its third season at CCC with season record of 20-0-2. The team compiled 17 shutouts in 22 total games. The team won the title game 6-0 setting the record for the most goals scored in an NWAACC championship game.
