Trail Blazers Acquire Anderson Varejão in 3 Team Trade

The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired forward Anderson Varejão as part of a three team trade that also involved the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic.

The trade also saw the Orlando Magic send Channing Frye to Cleveland while the Cavs will also send Jared Cunningham to Orlando.

The Blazers are expected to waive Varejão and use the stretch provision to pay the remainder of his salary over the next five seasons.

The Trail Blazers return to action on Friday when they visit the Golden State Warriors.
