The Pacific University Boxers won the title of best Portland sports logo in a battle launched by PortlandSports.com on Jan. 22.

The five week tournament included 32 teams from Portland that were divided into four regions: Portlandia, Stumptown, Rose City and Bridgetown. Voters were allowed to vote for each matchup individually and only once per day. Nearly 165,000 votes were cast.

The Pacific University Boxers dominated the competition all the way through, and in the championship round won against the Portland Stags by more than 3,800 votes.

The Boxers' lead grew each day throughout the tournament, even after the Mayors of Portland and Forest Grove made a friendly wager late in the competition. Portland Mayor Charlie Hales now owes Mayor Pete Truax of Forest Grove a six-pack of local craft beer after betting on the Stags, according to PortlandSports.com.
