The automotive dealership features a rain water collection system, solar charging station, and waterless urinals. 250 solar panels make up the Sales Center roof, and the onsite car wash service primarily uses recycled rain water. Heat for the service building is produced through waste oil burners, with the recycled oil coming from vehicle oil changes.
During the grand opening, Beaverton Toyota presented $5,000 donations to three local charities; Oregon Humane Society, St. Mary’s Boys Home, and Beaverton High Success Fund.
Beaverton Toyota also presented the winners of the Winterhawks Hockey Family of the Year contest, the Hunt Family of Tigard, with a brand new Toyota Tundra.
