10th Annual Seafood & Wine Festival at Oregon Convention Center
Tuesday, January 27, 2015
This annual Portland tradition, smack dab in the middle of Dungeness Crab season, features fresh Oregon seafood, wines from over 50 Oregon wineries and selected Oregon craft beer vendors, live music and the first 300 people each day through the gates receive a collectable wine glass. The Portland Seafood and Wine Fest benefits The Oregon Chapter of the National MS Society.
On top of all that seafood, on Friday this will be the site of the annual Celebrity Crab Cracking Championship. Local newscasters and other celebs types (including GoLocalPDX's own Byron Beck) will be on hand to crack as many crabs as they can in the allotted time.
The event will be again be hosted by Crab Cracking Contest creator Gregg LeBlanc with officiating provided by the Director of the Oregon Dungeness Crab Commission.
