Tornado Hits Longview, Washington

A tornado hit Longview, Washington arround 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The first reported sightings were near the Kessler Elementary School in the 1900 block of Kessler Boulevard, but multiple reports of a tornado and damage in a commercial downtown area were made via Twitter. The tornado moved across town toward Kelso, knocking down trees and damaging roofs. No fires were started, but there are numerous power outages. No injuries have been reported.
