Manafort to Be Jailed at “Violent” Rikers Island in New York

Donald Trump's former campaign manager is expected to arrive at the complex on Thursday.
The 70-year-old will be held in solitary confinement at Rikers, which is known to have a violent reputation.
According to NBC, Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. filed state charges against Manafort include mortgage fraud and fabricating business records.
Manafort was given combined prison sentences that amounted to seven and a half years behind bars. Criminal charges in those cases were brought upon by Robert Mueller's special counsel.
