Man’s Tent Doused With Gasoline and Set on Fire

A man and his dog are unharmed after their tent was set on fire by unknown asailants, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The incident happend Saturday on the 2200 block of SW Highway 47 near Forest Grove.

Authorities were unable to locate the suspect, who they believe douced the tent containing the 47-year-old homeless man and his dog with gasoline before liting it on fire. Both were able to escape the fire without injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 503-846-2500.
